Welcome to the IBSS Online Brown Bag Autumn-Winter Series!
Right in this September, there will be two lunch talks in next week and the week after. The two speakers are both experienced lecturers at IBSS.
The First Session
Topic: Individual or Group? Innovation Ecosystem and Organizational Resilience
Entering the post-pandemic era, enterprises are confronted with much more challenges to survive. Organizational resilience thus becomes a prevalent topic for entrepreneurs and managers to view their businesses' sustainability. But how to enhance organizational resilience is debatable. Largely, there are several ways to realize it, and innovation ecosystem is a long-term one. This session sketches the core findings of a recent book by Dr Wang - Catch-up and Radical Innovation in the Large Infrastructure Sector of China: The Role of State-Owned Enterprises about innovation ecosystem, and provides implications for enterprises about how to build up their organizational resilience with innovation ecosystem, as well as pertinent leadership, entrepreneurship, dynamic innovation capability and corporate culture.

Assistant Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU); Honorary Lecturer in Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Management School, University of Liverpool; Fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK); Outstanding Teacher of XJTLU; Mentor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Innovation Hub (IIH), XJTLU; Research Fellow of XIPU Institution (the think-tank of XJTLU). He serves as an article reviewer of Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Human Resource Management, and Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and plays a key role in think-tank and advisory projects of XJTLU. He also worked as an advisor on international collaborative innovation for Chinese and European enterprises.
