In June 2022, Dr. Sigrid Winkler was appointed Deputy Executive Director at the German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai and is in charge of the membership organization at the Chamber as well as the development of strategic projects for the organization. Dr. Winkler joined the German Chamber in spring 2016, initially as Project Manager Social Responsibility where she was responsible for the More than a Market initiative, and was promoted in October 2016 to Executive Chamber Manager. Dr. Winkler holds a PhD in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies from Vienna University. Before joining the German Chamber, she was Head of Office of the Austrian Academic Exchange Agency (OeAD) in Shanghai. Previously, Dr. Winkler managed international business development projects in China and Eastern Europe for Business Upper Austria, the economic agency of the regional government of Upper Austria. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on EU-China relations, and since 2002, she has been regularly coming back to China for shorter and longer-term stays.

Mr. Li Haiguang was appointed as CIO at Schaeffler Region Greater China in July 2018 to manage its general IT and Digitalization activities. Mr. Li has rich experience in IT and digitalization of Automotive industry in China over 18 years. He started his career with Shanghai General Motors in 2003 and implemented the 1st SAP IS-AUTO solution for Auto OEM in China. He served Qoros Auto (JV between Chery and Israel Corp.) as CIO to implement full landscape of IT infrastructure and applications from scratch from 2012 to 2018. Mr. Li is a guest lecture of 2021 MBA school of business at the Tsinghua University in Beijing.

Dr. Huang works currently as CFO of Poggenpohl Group which is a leading international brand for luxury and premium kitchen furniture based in Germany. Before that, he has been working as management consultant and trainer in Germany and China for nearly 30 years, firstly for leading international consultancies, such as Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Horváth & Partners, and from 2003 on as independent consultant and trainer. Dr. Huang is member of International Association of Controllers and the exclusive training partner of CA Controller Akademie in China. CA Controller Akademie is the market leader for controlling and controller training in the German-speaking countries.

Alexander is a German certified tax advisor (Steuerberater) and has lived and worked in Shanghai since October 2005. Prior to working in China, Alexander worked for three years in the international tax department in Frankfurt. Alexander is a German native speaker and fluent in English and Mandarin.

Mr. Kalkbrenner has been working in Finance related positions for more than twenty years. Since 2006 he is involved in projects and businesses with a strong link to China. In 2010 he then moved to China and lives in the Suzhou area. Here Mr. Kalkbrenner first worked for an automotive supplier in Suzhou New District and starting from 2014 for the company Zapp Precision Metals in Taicang, which delivers special metal materials to a broad range of industries in China.

In his part-time, he works as External Mentor for Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou and at the same time as Researcher for the “Center of intelligent finance” at Shanghai National Accounting Institute. He was awarded as “CGMA most promising finance talent of the year 2020”.

Then he worked as the regional costing supervisor and the finance director in the wholly owned foreign enterprises. He has also led the finance BP, legal and customer care teams and had rich experiences in financial management in traditional manufacturing companies and modern retail business. Now he is working in a listed biologics company as the finance director.
