Dr. Sigrid WINKLER
Deputy Executive Director of German Chamber of Commerce China · ShanghaiIn June 2022, Dr. Sigrid Winkler was appointed Deputy Executive Director at the German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai and is in charge of the membership organization at the Chamber as well as the development of strategic projects for the organization. Dr. Winkler joined the German Chamber in spring 2016, initially as Project Manager Social Responsibility where she was responsible for the More than a Market initiative, and was promoted in October 2016 to Executive Chamber Manager. Dr. Winkler holds a PhD in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies from Vienna University. Before joining the German Chamber, she was Head of Office of the Austrian Academic Exchange Agency (OeAD) in Shanghai. Previously, Dr. Winkler managed international business development projects in China and Eastern Europe for Business Upper Austria, the economic agency of the regional government of Upper Austria. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on EU-China relations, and since 2002, she has been regularly coming back to China for shorter and longer-term stays.
Xavier ALARCON

Airu GONG

Alexander is a German certified tax advisor (Steuerberater) and has lived and worked in Shanghai since October 2005. Prior to working in China, Alexander worked for three years in the international tax department in Frankfurt. Alexander is a German native speaker and fluent in English and Mandarin.
Alexander is committed to advising European, particularly German-speaking clients, on their investments in China. He is focused on Chinese, German and international tax matters for corporate clients as well as their employees. Typical projects of Alexander include investment and expansion, restructuring, profit repatriation planning, employee assignment, cost cross-charges, supply chain planning projects, etc.

For the local business community Taicang Roundtable (TRT) he chairs the Finance & Controlling workshop, where its members share experiences and discuss new topics.
Ken Bian (Moderator)
Finance Director of a listed Biologics company in SuzhouMr. Bian holds MBA certificate and is owner of CGMA & CIMA certification. In his part-time, he works as External Mentor for Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou and at the same time as Researcher for the “Center of intelligent finance” at Shanghai National Accounting Institute. He was awarded as “CGMA most promising finance talent of the year 2020”.
Mr. Bian has 15 years' working experiences in overall finance functions in international companies. At the beginning, he worked as the external auditor in a CPA firm after graduation. Then he worked as the regional costing supervisor and the finance director in the wholly owned foreign enterprises. He has also led the finance BP, legal and customer care teams and had rich experiences in financial management in traditional manufacturing companies and modern retail business. Now he is working in a listed biologics company as the finance director.
