This is the last call of DUSA Training "Application of Value Stream Mapping" on January 19th, 2021.
Value steam mapping is the simple process of observing the flows of information and materials as they occur currently, summarizing them visually, and then envisioning a future state with improved performance. It is a basic tool of lean production to analyze the current state and design a future state with lean principles. The training course introduces the method of value-stream mapping and shows the use on an example. In the second part of the training, the participants could analyze a certain part of the particular company and draw a value-stream map on-site by themselves. | 价值流图是获取企业当前物流与信息流的一种简单易行的方法。通过使价值流可视化，从而 设计出具有更高绩效的未来生产模式。价值流图是精益生产中用来分析当前状况与设计未来 状态的基本工具。此培训介绍了价值流图的画法，并通过实例来展示它的用途。在培训的第 二部分中，学员可在生产现场的一个特定区域自己实践完成一份价值流图。

Dr. Tobias Arndt
General Manager at GAMIDr. Tobias Arndt completed his industrial engineering studies at RWTH Aachen University (Germany) with a diploma in 2012. During that time, he also received his Master of Science at the Tsinghua University in Beijing. He was working as a research associate and project manager at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for more than four years. Dr. Arndt conducted several research and consulting projects with industry related to production, logistics, and supply chain optimization. In his PhD thesis, he focused on quality control strategies in global manufacturing networks. Since 2017, Dr. Arndt serves as the General Manager of GAMI, establishing fruitful Sino-German collaborations between industry and research in the field of smart manufacturing.
安陶然博士担任GAMI全球先进制造研究所总经理。他于2012毕业于亚琛工业大学并获得工业工程硕士学位，同年获得清华大学理学硕士学位。随后四年多的时间以研究员及项目经理的身份在卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院（KIT）wbk生产技术研究所从事研究及顾问项目工作，指导并实施了多项涉及生产、物流、供应链优化等方向的科研及顾问项目，并同时完成了KIT机械工程博士学位，主要研究方向为全球化制造网络中的质量控制战略，成为该领域的专家。
