Chuiwan (捶丸), an ancient Chinese ball-and-stick game, is regarded as an important predecessor of modern mini golf. It first appeared more than a thousand years ago and flourished during the Tang, Song, and Ming dynasties, as cities expanded, gardens evolved, and leisure became part of daily life.

The game was played by court nobility, officials, scholars, military officers, and urban residents—women included—in palace grounds, temple courtyards, gardens, and open spaces, reflecting everyday life in ancient China.

Six Arts Mini Golf draws directly from this history. Its six realms represent spaces of living, work, study, and play, while eighteen holes reinterpret real places and cultural symbols, turning history into a playable journey through time.

捶丸，是中国古代一种击球游戏，被视为现代迷你高尔夫的重要源流之一，起源于一千多年前，并在唐、宋、明时期达到兴盛。彼时城市发展、园林成熟，休闲活动逐渐融入日常生活。

捶丸的参与者涵盖宫廷贵族、官员、士人学者、军中将领及城市平民，女性亦广泛参与。其活动场所遍及宫苑、寺庙庭院、园林与开阔地带，深度融入社会生活。

六悦捶丸正是基于这一真实历史而创作。六大境域对应古代生活、劳作、求学与娱乐的不同空间，十八洞取材于传统中国的真实场所与文化符号，让历史在行走与推杆之间，化为一段可亲身体验的旅程。
