November Session

Title: The Future of Public-Private Partnerships

This talk will discuss recent developments in PPPs in the UK and explore what the recent changes mean for PPP in China. The talk traces the history of partnerships between the public and private sectors in Australia, and concludes that while the specific mechanisms to manage these partnerships may evolve over time, the need for them is unlikely to dissipate. Therefore the core question must be "what is an appropriate way to build and maintain functioning partnerships?"
