Duration of Internship: One Year from Middle April 2019 to June 2020 (final year)

Skill-set: 

5 years training in CNC machining, including bench work, normal turning and milling, CNC turning, CNC milling, inspecting, maintenance, and pneumatic/E-pneumatic

or

5 years training in mechatronic, including normal turning and milling, pneumatic/E-pneumatic, PLC programing, testing, and trouble shooting

Other skills: Basic English, Microsoft, AutoCAD, Siemens Step7, Basic Solidworks, etc.

About Elbe Education:

Elbe Education is established in SND Suzhou in 2014. Elbe Education follows German dual vocational education system and runs joint training programs with Chinese Vocational school. They have training projects in Suzhou, Taizhou, Dongguan, Kaifeng, Jining, etc.

On March 8, 2019, the groundbreaking ceremony of the commencement of the construction of McGavigan Decorative Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was held in Wusongjiang Science and Technology Industrial Park, Wuzhong Development Zone, Suzhou.

2019年3月8日上午，麦格威饰件科技（苏州）有限公司开工奠基典礼在开发区吴淞江科技产业园隆重举行。

Mr. Luo Xingnan and Mr. Yu Keming, members of the Party Working Committee of the Development Zone and Deputy Directors of the Management Committee, Stephen Mathers, Vice President of McGavigan Global, and Wang Lifeng, General Manager of McGavigan Decorative Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony and delivered speech to guests.

Honorable guests from District Planning Bureau, Development Zone Investment Promotion Bureau, Economic Development Bureau, Construction Bureau, Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau, head office and other leaders also attended this ceremony.

开发区党工委委员、管委会副主任骆兴男，开发区党工委委员、管委会副主任郁克铭，麦格威公司总部副总裁Stephen Mathers, 麦格威饰件科技（苏州）有限公司总经理王立锋，区规划局、开发区招商局、经发局、建设局、行政审批局、总公司等领导出席奠基仪式。奠基典礼上，企业方代表与建设方代表分别致辞。

Mr. Yu Keming expressed warm congratulations on the foundation of McGavigan's new plant and said that with the implementation of the new concept, the development zone will focus on the industry and urban spatial layout of "one core, one circle, one corridor and one district", to determine the "3+3" industrial planning, and to attach great importance to the development of equipment manufacturing industry, to continuously optimize the policy environment, to accelerate the expansion of industrial clusters such as precision machinery and auto parts, so as to fully advance into the vanguard and main position of the national development zone.

郁克铭对麦格威新厂开工奠基表示热烈的祝贺。郁克铭表示开发区将通过深入贯彻落实新的发展理念，紧紧围绕"一核一圈一廊一区"的产业和城市空间布局，确定 "3+3"产业规划，高度重视装备制造产业的发展，不断优化政策环境，加快做大做强精密机械、汽车零配件等产业集群，全面迈进国家级开发区的排头兵和主阵地。

Mr. Wang Lifeng, General Manager of McGavigan Decorative Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. said that McGavigan has experienced a substantial increase since they settled down in the development zone 8 years ago.

The existing scale can no longer meet the needs of McGavigan's business growth, and with the strong support from relevant departments of the development zone, McGavigan will continue to invest for new plant construction, production line expansion and process optimization and upgrading.

王立锋总经理表示，麦格威入驻开发区8年以来，公司业务不断发展，现有规模已经不能满足未来公司业务增长的需求，在开发区相关部门的大力支持下，将增加投资，用于新厂房建设、生产线扩建及工艺流程优化和提升。

随后，典礼进行了植树、剪彩、培土、点睛等仪式。

Cuts Business VAT

The VAT rate for mainland businesses is to be cut as of 1 April this year. In the manufacturing sector (and related industries) it is to fall from 16% to 13%, while in the transportation, construction and other related industries, it is to be reduced from 10% to 9%. The lower rates 6% and 3% will remain unchanged. There might be further changes following shortly in order to simplify the VAT system.

2019年3月5日上午喜讯传来，政府工作报告明确宣布我国的增值税税率中的16%的税率将降为13%.

政府工作报告说，深化增值税改革，今年将制造业等行业现行16%的税率降至13%，将交通运输业、建筑业等行业现行10%的税率降至9%；保持6%一档的税率不变，但通过采取对生产、生活性服务业增加税收抵扣等配套措施，确保所有行业税负只减不增。
