This is the last call of DUSA/GAMI joint workshop "Data Mining and Industrial Intelligence under Manufacturing Transformation " on December 18.
The current development of the digital economy, especially high-level and in-depth combination of information and industrialization has led to an explosion of data in the business field. It requires us to use more complex and sophisticated tools in data analysis, processing, and mining. Through data mining, we can extract interesting knowledge, potential values or rules to assist decision-making and control processes. | 当下数字化经济特别是两化融合的发展，让商业领域的数据量激增，要求我们采用更加复杂和精细的工具来进行数据分析、处理和挖掘。通过数据挖掘，来提取有趣的知识、潜在价值或规律，以辅助决策、控制过程等。
"The data is abundant but the information is poor." Although the great success in data mining technology has made it easier for us to collect data extensively, the development of technology is still difficult to match the explosive data growth and heavy demands of data processing. So we need new technologies and automated tools more than ever to transform the data into useful information and knowledge. | "数据丰富但信息贫乏"，尽管近年来数据挖掘技术取得的长足进展使得我们广泛收集数据越来越容易，但技术的发展依然难以匹配爆炸性的数据增长以及随之而来的大量数据处理需求，因此我们比以往更加迫切地需要新技术和自动化工具来帮助我们将这些数据转换为有用的信息和知识。
DUSA and GAMI specially organize this event with topic entitled "Data Mining and Industrial Intelligence under Manufacturing Transformation" to introduce the concepts and methods of data mining and the applications of data mining technology in different industries. Well-known experts, Mr. Wang Yun and Mr. Shi Zhe, together with GAMI senior consultant, Ms. Guo Mengchao, will share and discuss the latest technologies and industry applications in the field of data mining. She has been awarded the TPV for five consecutive years, auditor of China Quality Association Six Sigma Black Belt, ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, and ISO13053. Ms. Guo has more than ten years of manufacturing experience, specializing in topics of: Six Sigma and quality management core tools of FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE, APQP, PPAP, 8D and team management. Experienced in Lean Six Sigma improvement projects with more than 150 cumulative projects; successfully leading ISO13053 Six Sigma organization maturity certification projects; effectively implementing 4 Six Sigma design black belt projects in the R&D department; successfully guiding and implementing 8 supplier audits and development projects.

His research field includes: predictive modeling, decision tree algorithm, boosting algorithm, recommendation system and time series data modeling.
In 2007, Mr. Wang won the championship of PAKDD International Data Mining Competition (main member). He is involved in the development of core technologies for multiple big data mining projects, including industries including telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, retail, and the Internet.
杭州奇越数据科技有限公司副总经理，美国Salford Systems公司亚太地区数据分析咨询服务专家，浙江大学机械设计博士。研究方向：预测建模技术，决策树算法，Boosting算法，推荐系统以及时间序列数据建模方法。

Vice President at Cyber InsightMr. Zhe Shi is VP of Cyber Insight. He is responsible for the design and implementation of industrial intelligence solutions for the company's landing projects.
Mr. Shi got his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Intelligent Maintenance System Center (IMS) of the University of Cincinnati, USA. He has a lot of practical experiences in the implementation of fault prediction and health management (PHM) solutions and intelligent algorithm research, such as statistical learning theory, semi-supervised learning, integrated learning, and process control.
Customers include Eaton, National Instruments, Alstom, Shanghai Electric, etc.
In 2019, Mr. Shi Zhe was selected into the Forbes China U30 Elite for his outstanding performance in the field of industrial manufacturing.
