An environmental approval is absolutely essential for most businesses to operate legally in China. Any business with operations resulting in contaminants being released into the environment must first apply to receive an approval to operate. This is especially important for manufacturing, engineering, and industrial businesses due to the nature of the operating processes and the levels of contaminants that can result. From the location selection to the construction of a new factory, environmental protection approval is an important issue that we must consider. We are honored to invite Mr. Franz Lang and Ms. Cathay Wang to be the keynote speakers of this event.

Mr. Franz Lang, the Managing Partner of VE-Engineers Suzhou will share his experience in working with customers to avoid potential problems, risks, consequences which can occur for greenfield projects, factory relocation and factory decoration.

Ms. Cathay Wang, the site manager of Stahl Coatings and Fine Chemicals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. will present:

  • How to select the location to avoid "mistakes": Chemical Zone, Monitoring Point, Yangtzi River Protection Law….
  • What should prepare as investor?
  • How to communicate with authority? (to understand approval process, restriction and other "wise" instruction).
  • What's major constrains in E.H.S

This is a hybrid event which will be held offline and offer online live broadcast at the same time.

A Germany style terrace BBQ and Meistbrau beer will be provided at the end of Roundtable. Please join us to mingle with business professionals and enjoy the delicious BBQ and beer.

About VYNCKE (Suzhou) Clean Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

For more than 100 years VYNCKE has been designing and building industrial energy plants from 1 to 100 MW capacity. Our installations turn biomass waste streams - such as wood waste and agro residues - into process energy.

We were active in this renewable energy business long before 'Global Warming' became an issue. And we continue to build on this robust business model of solving waste and energy problems in a decentralized way. So our activity is sustainable by definition.

Today's examples are very much diverse: a producer of sunflower oil in Russia who turns his sunflower hulls into heat and power; an MDF board producer in Brazil who turns its own wood residues into energy in the form of steam, thermal oil and hot gas. Other examples of biomass energy takers: whisky distilleries with wood pellets in Scotland, a Google-datacenter with recycled wood waste in Luxemburg or a car manufacturer in Morocco who heats his factory and paint shop on olive pits.

Today we continuously look for new organic waste streams which occur in many industries, something our local competitors don't think worthy their focus. As such we keep discovering and entering new uncontested markets thanks to our attitude of a real 'can-do' technology innovator.

Thanks to the Total Cost of Ownership concern embedded in a VYNCKE installation, we implement 30 installations per year. Since 70% of these projects are installed outside of Europe, we cannot tackle them all from our HQ in Harelbeke so today VYNCKE also has settlements in Brazil, Germany, the Czech Republic, India, China, Thailand and Malaysia.

Being present worldwide has also given us the opportunity to build up experience with a wide variety of biomass waste flows and different energy demands, each featuring a unique set of project conditions resulting in unique VYNCKE solutions.
