The COVID-19 brings some significant and fundamental changes in the world and many of these will become permanent. When this health crisis abates, more and more conversations are turning to economic recovery. How the economy will look after the Coronavirus Pandemic? What is the pandemic's impact on the industries and markets? With this in mind, DUSA invites three speakers from different fields to share their opinions on China macro economy trend analysis and industries prediction and to work toward clearer answers.
Dr. Fan Liu, a Lecturer in Economics at IBSS, XJTLU, will focus on recent Chinese macro economy and industry trend on the following aspects:
- China macro economy situation: e.g. international trade;
- Manufacturing and non-manufacturing industry macro view and trend;
- Policy snapshot.
Mr. Marshall Chen, a Partner from FIDUCIA Strategy Advisory, will present their findings in
- Industry snapshot: e.g. automotive, medical, home appliance, automation;
- Dash board for leaders: survive, streamline and strategies;
and share with us some practical cases.
Mr. Jialin Su, the Sales General Manager of WIKA China , will share his opinion about
- China macro economy analysis by key segments;
- Impact by Coronavirus pandemic;
- 2021 industries trend and countermeasures.
This is a hybrid event which will be held at the DUSA member company "WIKA Instrumentation (Suzhou) Co., Ltd." and offer online live broadcast at the same time.

Dr. Fan Liu
Lecturer in Economics at IBSS, XJTLU
Dr. Fan Liu is currently a Lecturer in Economics at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Iowa in 2017. Before joining XJTLU, she has teaching experience at the University of Iowa and professional experience in working with one of the largest inclusive financial services organizations, Accion, in the United States. Her research focuses on the areas of macroeconomics, financial inclusion, digital economics, small business entrepreneurship, and economic development. Dr. Liu has published in leading research journals such as Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization (SSCI, ABS3*, ABDC A*). Her research works have been presented at international conferences hosted by University of Cambridge, Washington University in St. Louis, Purdue University, and many other world-class research institutions.

Chen
Partner at FIDUCIA Strategy Advisory
As a partner of FIDUCIA Strategy Advisory, Marshall has 20 years’ experience in the consulting areas. His expertise ranges from market analysis to strategy formulation and M&A support.
Marshall has extensive experience in executing growth strategy assignments in various industries in China for multinational clients. Prior to joining Fiducia, Marshall worked for nearly 10 years at companies in China including Google and the ERP Company Future and thus gained experienced in dealing with clients in a cross-cultural working environment.
Mr. Jialin
Su
Sales General Manager at WIKA China
Mr. Jialin Su has worked as Sales General Manager in WIKA since 2012. Before joining WIKA, he held positions of Commercial Director and National Sales Manager in European companies. Mr. Su has abundant experience in the sales and marketing and has insights into the development trend of the industry.
Mr. Su got his MBA degree at CEIBS in 2009 and his Bachelor degree in Electric and Automation at Wuhan Technology University in 1984.
