This is the last call of DUSA Roundtable "Maintenance 4.0: What works, what doesn't, lessons from 20 years in China" on October 28th.
Numerous conferences have been held on the topic of Industry 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing, during which Maintenance is often cited as a low-hanging fruit. Vendors constantly tout technologies such as IoT and AI for Predictive Maintenance, BIM for Facilities Management, AR Smart Glasses… Yet, apart from proof-of-concept experiments, real-scale industrial applications are few and far between.
Mr. Bruno Lhopiteau, Managing Director of Siveco China (www.sivecochina.com/en), has been helping clients optimize their plants lifecycle and ensure regulatory compliance using industrial IT, in China, since the late 1990s, long before the terms "smart" and "4.0" were coined. Bruno will share some of his experience and explore the challenges, obstacles and success stories of Maintenance 4.0 in China. In particular, he will look at how industrial SMEs in Suzhou area could benefit from proven technologies and approaches to improve their plant maintenance.
This is a hybrid event which will be held at the DUSA member company, "voestalpine Böhler Welding (China) Co., Ltd." and offer online live broadcast at the same time.
