We are delighted to invite you to attend the DUSA May Roundtable "Company Relocation - Lessons Learnt and Best Practices" on May 27, 2020.
This is a hybrid event which will be held at CAREL with limited participants and offer live broadcast on Zoom.

In the industrial world, there are few things more stressful, time-consuming, and costly to a business than a
company or manufacturing facility relocation. There are many factors to take into account when relocating, such as,
- Finding the right location;
- Making, renting, or buying a new building?
- The importance of a plan and regular checks
- Breaking down, moving, and re-installing machinery and equipment;
- Minimizing downtime;
- Personnel changes;
......
Despite the challenges, the benefits of relocating your company can be numerous and far-reaching. In fact, many of those perceived hurdles offer benefits, when done properly and approached with the right mindset.
In this event, Mr. Luciano Marzaro will present the lessons and best practices of the company relocation.
Ms. Donna Deng, who has just completed the company relocation project, will stand by for the Q&A Session to give some discussion as well.
Mr. Florian Weihard will share his experience about the relocation project planning and preparation.

Mr. Florian Weihard (Moderator)
CTO at ruhlamat Automation Technologies (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.Florian Weihard is an Industry 4.0 Specialist and Chief Technology Officer with long Engineering and General Management experience. He has completed his mechanical engineering studies at OTH Regensburg, Germany in 2009. After starting his career as design engineer in the R&D in Germany in the same year, he moved to China in 2010. Over the following years, he set up and managed engineering offices and plants in China, Singapore, USA and Malaysia. Since 2015, he has been focusing on Industry 4.0 and Digitalization Technologies. As CTO, he is now responsible for the Innovation Management and Technology Development in ruhlamat Automation Technologies as well as for the Digitalization Division as GM of ruhlamat Smart Technologies. He is also the Co-initiator and Technology Expert of the Smart Manufacturing Application Sharing Forum as well as Vice Chair of the Board of DUSA European Association Suzhou. He was a selected candidate of Jiangsu High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Introduction Program and won the award of 2018 Jiangsu High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship High Skilled Talent.

Managing Director of CAREL ChinaLuciano Marzaro is the General Manager of CAREL Electronic Co. Suzhou which is the Chinese manufacturing plant of CAREL SPA, Italian multinational company leader on solutions for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditions and Refrigeration market (HVAC-R).
Luciano was born in Italy in 1964, he is Italian with a background on Electronics (Technical Diploma in 1983).
After starting his professional activity working for Olivetti SPA (Italian Computer Company), he moved to CAREL in 1988 covering different roles as Technical Manager, Marketing and Sales Responsible for Europe and Overseas areas.
From 2010 until 2018 he moved to Spain as General Manager of “CAREL Iberica S.L.”, the CAREL subsidiary for Spain and Portugal area. From 2018 he has been living in China, Suzhou (Jiangsu province) as General Manager of CAREL Electronic China. Luciano has been the Board Member of DUSA since April 2020.

Donna has been the Board Member of DUSA since April 2019. She is also the General Manager of DUSA Legal company.

CAREL has decided to build a new plant in Suzhou New District because it is the ideal place thanks to the consolidated infrastructures, the necessary technological facilities available on the territory and the already consolidate supply chain.
