She has published three best-selling China business books together with CEIBS Associate Dean of MBA Dr Juan Fernandez (China CEO, China Entrepreneur and China CEO II, from John Wiley). Having spent 20+ years working, teaching and consulting in Greater China, Dr Underwood is fluent in spoken Mandarin, and specialized in teaching cross-cultural Chinese-Western business communications. As a Senior Associate Professor of Management (adjunct) with the International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), she teaches at in the Executive Education, International MBA, and Undergraduate programs. As a senior consultant with Sino Associates, her clients have included: Air Liquide, Decathlon, Michelin, Santen, Albemarle, RHIM, and AmCham Shanghai.
