How to manage the Headquarters' expectation
China has long been a source of opportunity, growth and new ideas for multinational firms. But it has never been an easy place to integrate into global strategies and practices. In recent years, the balance between opportunity and challenge has shifted significantly, and strategic responses by headquarters often came with a generous amount of experimentation. Based on his recent book 'Dragon Suit: The golden age of expatriate executives in China', and his practice since the book's 2023 publication, intercultural leadership coach, speaker and consultant Gabor Holch's speech evaluates management localization, "decoupling", "derisking", "China for China" and other popular strategies from the perspective of multinational headquarters running their China branches. He will share practical tips for avoiding typical mistakes, harnessing opportunities and integrating them into global practices in a dramatically changing but still high-potential environment in China.

If you register for an event but can't attend, please do let us know in advance. If you cancel 3 days before the event, there will be NO cancellation fee. DUSA will charge 50% of the registration fee if you cancel within 2 days, and 100% for cancellation within 24 hours.
