Due to personal reasons, we regret that our Business Manager, Sarah Tian, will be leaving DUSA. Sarah will be leaving on 7 August, with her effective last-day-of-working on 31 July. We thank Sarah for her passion and contributions to DUSA and her commitment to the welfare of our members.

DUSA European Association Suzhou
DUSA European Association Suzhou is a private non-profit organization which is held and driven by its members in and around Suzhou. Members are mostly medium sized enterprises which have their head offices in Europe but have works or offices locally. DUSA helps them to interchange within their management for best practices, information & competence, enabling cross company collaboration, pooling of interests and fostering of networking. Therefore, meetings with different aspects are held, for both socializing and experience exchange. DUSA consists of more than 150 Members and is driven by an elected board with 6 Directors who run the association with their member base.

Introduction
'DUSA - European Association Suzhou' is a private, non-profit organization based in Suzhou, China. The 'DUSA Business Manager' is of the main FACE of our members, authorities and other business partners, will coordinate and drive the day-to-day activities and projects which DUSA is organizing in and around Suzhou.
Main tasks include (but not limited):
Business Manager takes overall responsibility for the New Membership Development, Marketing Activities and Social Events with vision and strategy setup by the DUSA Board. This position will need to cooperate and align closely with other DUSA Service Team members including DUSA Secretary and Accountant, to provide best service to all members.

Give support or help to answer inquiry from DUSA members via phone calls, emails or WeChat messages.

1. Business Development
Identify and win new member companies by following up on recommendations from other companies, online requests, various meetings as well as pro-actively using Suzhou company lists (potential from SND/SIP government) and personal connections.
2. Marketing/Public Relation
Improve the brand awareness of DUSA in cooperation with the responsible Board member by contacting magazines and authorities and inform more about business and social activities. Make more use of advertising material and develop new ideas for better marketing. Keep external media informed about DUSA activities, results and news. Keep in close contact with other organizations and chambers (German, American, Italian, British, Japanese, Singapore etc.) and other institutions. Find synergies, exchange topics and event speakers for the expat community and improve cooperation. Develop new ideas for common projects.
3. Newsletter
Prepare the content of the DUSA bi-monthly newsletter and work with the design company to meet the publishing calendar. Coordinate with different sources for writing of event articles and contribute own articles of general interest for members.
4. Website
Prepare and update content of DUSA website and suggest appropriate measures to improve.
5. Social events
In cooperation with the responsible Board member, organize, advertise and supervise all ongoing regular social projects such as Social Gathering. Contribute ideas for new social events such as wine tasting events, cross cultural events, workshops… Coordinate the organization of the annual Oktoberfest acting as main contact person with DUSA partner. Prepare Sponsorship Package, find out Sponsors, find out Lucky Draw vouchers…Organize the annual networking "Inter-Chamber Mixer" event.
