As a DUSA tradition, our New Year roundtable will share with you the China economic and business outlook for the new year. This flagship event is slated to provide insights into the dynamic Chinese market, helping you to navigate the economic landscape with informed business acumen. We are delighted to invite Mr. Daniel YOO, Chief Representative and Ms. Han CHEN, Project Manager from German Engineering Association China Office (VDMA) - Shanghai. and Mr. Oliver SCHIRMER, German Vice Director of the German-Chinese University of Applied Sciences (CDHAW) at Tongji University.
The VDMA China is organizing a half-annual business climate survey of its 900 member companies in China. The survey reflects the current mood of German/European machinery and equipment manufacturing companies to give an understanding of their current business situation in the Chinese Market. The survey also includes industrial sector single survey results. During the DUSA event at ruhlamat, the results of the Robotics and Automation sector are going to be addressed, too.
The VDMA China and Frankfurt did a joint study about the China Strategy of its member companies.
Both the headquarters and China subsidiaries took part in this survey and study project. The result of the survey is to show current developments of strategic behavior for the business related to China. VDMA presents different options and tips on how to steer the business in volatile and uncertain times. During the DUSA conference at ruhlamat VDMA China is going to present the results of the survey.
CDHAW at Tongji University is a lighthouse project between the Chinese Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) which was founded in July, 2004. The object of CDHAW is to be the pilot project for the model of the universities of applied sciences (HAW) in China. Double bachelor degrees for engineers. They have a close link with many manufacturing companies as an industry partner.
