Today, Smart logistics plays a huge role in the digital transformation of businesses and the supply chain. Many companies are taking note of the potential that these technologies hold. Through corporate innovation, smart logistics are redefining how the supply chain functions.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, we expected a better market in 2023, but it turned out to be a challenging year for many companies. Customers were slow to make decisions and held back investments when didn't cancel them, making it a challenging situation for everyone, including MODULA China. Nevertheless, with expedited strategy adjustments and exploration, MODULA managed to grow in sales and in net income. Will next year be any better?

Dr. Marc Gronwald
Senior Associate Professor in Economics at International Business School Suzhou, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool UniversityDr Marc Gronwald is a Senior Associate Professor in Economics at International Business School Suzhou, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He obtained a diploma (master equivalent) degree in Economics from the University of Bielefeld, and his PhD in Economics from the University of Hamburg, both in Germany. Prior to his appointment at IBSS, Dr Gronwald held appointments as Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Aberdeen, UK, and as Economist at the ifo Institute for Economic Research, Munich, Germany. Dr Gronwald is member (fellow) of the CESifo Research Network and Research Associate of the ifo Center for Energy, Climate and Exhaustible Resources.
Dr Gronwald’s research covers areas such as Financial Economics, Energy Economics, and the Economics of Climate Change. Dr Gronwald published in a wide range of international academic journals such as Energy Economics, the International Review of Financial Analysis, the Journal of International Money and Finance and Environmental and Resource Economics.
