Dear Valued Members and Friends of DUSA,

We gladly announce that Ms. Alicia Chen who joins us as DUSA Business Manager on August 17th, 2020.

Alicia Chen graduated from Nanjing University of Finance & Economy in 2009 with a Degree in Law.

She has more than 10 years of experience in legal consulting and investment project management within various industries. 

Her strong legal background, past experiences, and her cross-cultural communication ability will be key elements to help her start her journey with DUSA and provide the best level of service to all DUSA members. 

In her spare time, Alicia loves traveling and outdoor activities such as hiking and jogging. She is a PADI certified scuba diver and competed in Suzhou's semi-marathon.

Alicia lives in Suzhou with her family. 

As the "DUSA Business Manager", Ms. Alicia Chen is of the main FACE of our members, authorities and other business partners. She will take overall responsibility for the New Membership Development, Marketing Activities and Social Events with vision and strategy setup by the DUSA Board. She will coordinate and drive the day-to-day activities and projects which DUSA is organizing in and around Suzhou and cooperate and align closely with other DUSA Service Team members, including DUSA Secretary and Accountant, to provide best service to all DUSA members.

Her main tasks include (but not limited):

1. Business Development

• Interaction with existing members;
• Recruiting of new members;
• Developing annual partners;
• Looking for events sponsorship.

2. Marketing/Public Relation

• Newsletter;
• EventBank;
• DUSA WeChat;
• Website;
• Linked-In;
• Contact window to other chambers and organizations.

3. Plan and Organize Social Events 

• Manage all social events with support from Service Team and CRM tool of EventBank;
• Social events (Social gathering, Soccer Tournament, Oktoberfest, Christmas dinner etc.);
• Any other social events approval from the Board.

4. DUSA HelpDesk

• Give support or help to answer inquiry from DUSA members via phone calls, emails or WeChat messages;
• Specific business issue related topic;
• DUSA project related issue;
• Help to channel with relevant party or authorities for seeking feedback.

The DUSA team would also like to take this opportunity to extend our deep gratitude to Sarah Tian for the supporting DUSA as Business Manager for more than two years!
