Topic 2: Increasing Productivity with Virtual Production Planning – Practical Use Cases from the Manufacturing Industry | 基于虚拟生产规划提升生产力 —— 制造业的实践案例
Effective simulation of manual work and human-machine collaboration is crucial in the process of building a digital factory. It can significantly help companies shorten planning cycles, enhance communication efficiency, and uncover potential for improvement. Professor Lars Fritzsche will demonstrate how to incorporate the "human" factor in virtual factory planning. He will also explore the cutting-edge applications of technologies such as VR, motion capture and 3D laser-scan. Furthermore, he will discuss how different systems can be used collaboratively within the industrial metaverse environment, such as NVIDIA Omniverse. The aim is to help companies ensure high-level productivity right from the planning stage.

heads the MTM Institute, is an MTM instructor and was, among other things, a member of the management board at Fraunhofer Austria and a visiting professor at the Institute for Production Systems at TU Dortmund University, Germany. He is Associate Professor for Industrial Engineering at Vienna University of Technology and teaches at the Danube University Krems in Austria. Currently, he is leading research and development activities for deriving MTM process descriptions from digital motion data using artificial intelligence.
