Supply Chain Due Diligence and the German Supply Chain Act
Focus: Introduce the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and similar due diligence regulations that may be adopted by the EU. Relevance: Detail the impacts on Chinese suppliers, the pressures faced by European subsidiaries in China, and how companies can proactively manage supply chain risks to ensure compliance.

Associate Dean for Professional Engagement at IBSS @ XJTLU
Pavel Castka is a Professor in the Department of Intelligent Operations and Marketing, and is currently serving as the Associate Dean for Professional Engagement for International Business School Suzhou at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He also serves as an expert at TC176 Quality Management at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). He has received large research grants from several funding agencies in Australia and New Zealand, advancing research and the application of innovative approaches to conformity assessment, especially in terms of digitalization, food systems innovations, social compliance and remote practices. His worldwide collaborations include several leading universities (such as UCLA, TU Berlin, Fraunhofer Institute, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Renmin University) and has been repeatedly invited by leading policy making institutions such as ISO, UNIDO, IUCN or IAF to discuss topics related to conformity assessment.

If you register for an event but can't attend, please do let us know in advance. If you cancel 3 days before the event, there will be NO cancellation fee. DUSA will charge 50% of the registration fee if you cancel within 2 days, and 100% for cancellation within 24 hours.
