The Social Responsibility initiative More than a Market, hosted by the German Chamber of Commerce in China and the Missions of the Federal Republic of Germany, is sharing and developing best practices of CSR by German companies in China. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the More than a Market Forum and Awards Gala. To honor this special occasion, the organizers have prepared a broad program - 5 Years 5 Days - of interactive and creative activities for you and your teams! Join us for panels & discussion rounds, keynotes, workshops, immersive experiences and social mixers to learn, share and develop CSR projects. Get inspired, make meaningful contacts and find partners for future collaborations!

Within this week, DUSA is thrilled to be a supporting partner. Join us for "Sustainable City Development' – the only event in Suzhou - and learn where we are headed in terms of construction and city design in the future!

The world is becoming increasingly urbanized. The United Nations Development Program projects that by 2050, two-thirds of all humanity will be living in urban dwellings. That's 6.5 billion people worldwide living in urban areas! We cannot achieve sustainable development without significantly transforming the way we build and manage urban spaces.

What makes a city sustainable? How can urban planning and management be improved while creating safe and affordable housing to build resilient societies and economies worldwide? Which challenges will we have to face in the future and which new methods and models can be used to overcome these?

A morning of engaging talks by industry-leaders will shine a light on different aspects of a sustainable city. As a highlight, we will be guided through the exhibit park of Winsun, one of the most advanced factories in 3D printing.

We are calling all industry peers and anyone keen to know where we are headed in terms of construction and city design in the future to join!

Please note: If you do not require transportation from Shanghai and are making your own arrangements to the Winsun, Suzhou Industrial Park, please notify Veronika Glauberman glauberman.veronika@sh.china.ahk.de so we can make all necessary prior arrangements.
