Dear DUSA Members and Friends,

This is the last call of DUSA Workshop "How to Save Cost by Utilizing Government Subsidies & Preferential Tax Policies" on October 10, 2019.

When it comes to cost saving, one of the ways is to utilize goverment incentives, or to get preferential tax treatment.

  • Government incentives

In recent years, various incentive polices have been issued from local to national level to support the entities from different perspectives, such as innovation, automation and intelligence, technology update, capital investment, international trade, CHC, specific industry encouragement and high-end talents etc., where entities could receive subsidies, even tens of millions.

While it is also challenging and time-consuming for the entities during the incentives application.

Considering the potential benefit and challenges of the government incentive application, speakers from Deloitte will highlight the major prevailing incentive polices applicable to Suzhou entities and share their insights.

  • Recent issued preferential tax policies

Speakers from Deloitte will go through the recent issued major tax preferential policies, such as small and micro businesses, R&D expense, and the VAT reform etc.

  • PRC Individual Income Tax ("IIT") saving opportunities

Speakers from Deloitte will explain PRC IIT saving opportunities for foreigners under new PRC IIT Law. Such as, utilizing the tax treaty relief and non-taxable benefits-in-kind, time-apportionment tax calculation method for expatriates under dual-employment contracts, preferential tax treatment for employee's bonus and stock incentive income and etc.
