This is the last call of DUSA April Training "Improve Individual and Team Effectiveness with EQ Leadership".
As an individual moves up the leadership pipeline, emotion intelligence becomes more crucial for personal success. Personal success comes in the form of career success, quality of life, interpersonal network and health High EQ is not about being a nice person, or will be able to say pleasant things about nice. Emotional intelligence leadership is more about accurately identifying and accepting the emotions of oneself and the party, treating emotions as a resource, and combining thinking and emotions to make the best decisions.

This Emotional Leadership course transforms EQ into three stages: "Knowing Emotions", "Selecting Emotions" and "Beyond Emotions", and eight competencies. Through an emotional intelligence assessment and experiential workshop, participants learn what their emotional intelligence is. Competency also means that we have a way to help participants improve it. Through this course, participants will learn about their emotional intelligence levels and how to improve their emotional intelligence.
这门情商领导力课把情商转变成三个阶段"知道情绪"，'选择情绪"和'超越情绪"和八个胜任力。 通过一个情商测评和体验式的工作坊，学员知道自己的情商处于什么情况。胜任力也意味我们有办法帮助学员提高它。通过这个课程， 学员会得知自己的情商水平，和如何锻炼情商有关的胜任力。

Tai Ming Edward
Tien
Mr. Edward Tien has over 20 years of experience in human resource and corporate management areas. He worked in numerous industries including luxury automobile retail, environmental services (energy management), specialty chemicals, property development and telecommunications. In his past portfolios, he was responsible for HR in countries such as Singapore, China (including SAR Hong Kong and Macau), Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Australia.
Edward lives and works in Beijing for the past eleven years, and is effective in English (native speaker), Mandarin and Cantonese, and comfortable operating in different national and organization work cultures.
As a corporate HR leader, he spends significant amount of time developing and implementing HR frameworks, policies, processes and programs relating to all human resources areas such as succession planning, competency model, assessment centers, performance management system, refining organization structure, raising employee engagement and cultural change.
Edward worked with CEO to develop and implement City Tactical Alignment or CTA (it was subsequently renamed as PMA, Prime Market Area) to push the line of authority and responsibilities to the front-line business units. To support this, policies, processes and tools were developed and implemented. He also worked with an external agency to develop the competency model, and this set the stage to launch internal assessment platforms, and General Manager Development Center. Edward personally facilitated at least, 12, succession planning workshops and PMA-level succession planning meetings.
Edward completed numerous General Managers and first-line managers assessment.In the recent three years, he completed over 120 hours feedback and coaching, and follow-up on their individual development plans (IDP).。
Edward is skilled in facilitating MBTI, DISC and Motivator, Hogan personality, Belbin team roles workshops to raise the employees’ self-awareness.
