What Economic Impact from the New Focus on Politics?

China has been changed extremely fast in the past 30 years, so that new high speed changes are not surprising.

However, while the direction China was taking had been very clear until 2012, it is also very clear that the new generation of leaders who are succeeding the Mr. Deng Xiaoping era is taking a new tack. This is the announced New Era, after those of Chairman Mao and Mr. Deng Xiaoping.

What is the economic impact for our businesses?

And what can we expect (or fear) from China in the next 5 to 10 years?

China's new chapter of its modern development will certainly be as interesting as the previous ones, though it is now very unclear how it will end.

 MSc. Physics Engineering EPFL 1986 (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne). Recipient of the first EPFL Special Alumni Award for outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship in 2004.

 Coordinator of yearly EPFL EMBA trip to China, introducing students to China’s foremost business leaders.
 Facilitated successful market entry of Multinationals and around 300 small and mid-sized companies, including operations management and restructuring in the past 20 years. Oversaw the set-up of 100 local operations in China.
 Co-organizer of the Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset, a non-profit Ultra-marathon in Mongolia for the sustainable development of tourism and the enhancement of its cultural identity.

Cancellation Policy

If you register for an event but can't attend, please do let us know in advance. If you cancel 2 days before the event, there will be NO cancellation fee. DUSA will charge 50% of the registration fee if you cancel within 2 days, and 100% for cancellation within 24 hours.
